Who We Are

“Meetings.” “Events.” It is not often when you have the opportunity to bring to life the two keywords to an industry that have been unavailable to the internet for almost 25 years. Since November 2023 the keywords to the Meetings Events Industry are to serve as a vast source of free information to everyone.

Our Editor, Vincent Alonzo, has covered the Meetings and Events industry for more than 30 years. For 20 of those years, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the digital and print versions of the Incentive and Successful Meetings brands. 

Dick Ausman, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher, was Group Publisher of the Presentations and Training brands and produced supplements for Successful Meetings which was a sister publication. Dick was also Group Publisher of the Meetings + Events Media Group for Tiger Oak Publications. Dick’s previous publications have won numerous national and state editorial awards including two Jessie H. Neal Awards, “the Pulitzer Prize” of business-to-business media.

Our mission is to be an incredibly reliable source of useful information that you should be aware of as it relates to the Meetings Events industry.

According to the Freeman 2024 Trends Report on attendee intent and behavior, When it comes to keynotes, content comes first. Attendees want substance, not celebrity. A thought- provoking, relevant topic will outweigh even the most prominent speaker.
